Below we offer the profile of our recently deceased

The Reverend Ann H. Plummer was our priest in charge.
Mother Ann grew up just north of New York City in New
Rochelle, and attended the Rye Country Day School and
Vassar College. After graduation she worked in New York
City in the college department of the National Council
of Churches. In 1962 she married Hu Plummer and moved
to Port Washington, on the north shore of Nassau County.
While her three children were growing up, she spent
many hours at St. Stephen’s in Port Washington,
doing most of the things that a lay person can do in
a parish: lay reader and eucharistic minister, Altar
Guild member, Bible Study leader, newsletter editor,
fair chairman and Church School teacher. In addition,
she directed a three-church ecumenical Vacation Bible
School.
She graduated from the Mercer School of Theology in
Garden City in 1990. The following year, she began part-time
study at The General Theological Seminary in New York
City and received the degree of Master of Sacred Theology
in 1996. Mother Ann was ordained to the diaconate in
1990 and to the priesthood in 1991. As a seminarian,
she did fieldwork at Holy Trinity, Hicksville and at
Christ Church, Oyster Bay. After her ordination, she
remained at Oyster Bay as the associate. From there
she went as Interim to St. Patrick’s, Deer Park,
back to St. Stephen’s, to St. Ann’s, Bridgehampton,
and then to St. Jude’s, Wantagh.

January 2010 Our supply priest is the Canon
Edward A. Wisbauer Jr. who is a familiar and
well beloved priest at All Souls'. We are proud that
the Village Times Herald named Fr. Wisbuaer as man of
the year in religion! See the related article.
Fr. Ed and the congregation at All Souls welcome all
visitors and invite you to join our small but growing
congregation.
We are an eclectic group consisting of young families,
retirees, college students and faculty, “old timers”,
brand new Episcopalians, and a number of former Roman
Catholics. We’ve all found a home at All Souls
and we invite you to visit.
