Founding of the Episcopal Church
This series of articles has six parts and an epilogue. Each is available in the following formats:

two screen versions, listed as HTML/CSS and HTML,

a version with no images, listed as TextOnly, and

a file version, given in portable document format and listed as PDF.

The screen versions HTML/CSS have captions for most of the pictures and may not display the pictures properly when used with a browser from earlier than 2002. The HTML version omits most captions and may not display properly with a browser from earlier than 1998; however, the nature of the missing captions can probably be guessed from the list of picture credits at the end of each article. The TextOnly version omits all pictures and picture credits; it takes comparatively little time to download and ought to work with any browser. The approximate length of each PDF file is listed below.

These articles were written in 2007 by Tony Knapp and included during 2007-08 in the newsletter of All Souls' Episcopal Church, Stony Brook, edited by Wendy Turgeon. The author has placed the text of each article in the public domain. However, the pictures do not come from the author, and some of the pictures are restricted in use. For each picture, there is an entry in the list of picture credits at the end of the corresponding article, and the restrictions on use may be determined by following up on the information given there.
